Family Guy ran originally from January 31, 1999 to February 14, 2002 on the Fox Network. Shortly after the third season aired in 2003, Fox canceled the series. Family Guy was one of the first to really push the envelope of what was allowed on TV.
Thanks to fan support, it is now in it’s 8th season with a 9th season scheduled. The ninth season is set to premiere in Fall of 2010 with a one hour “whodunit” murder mystery set to guest star James Woods, marking his third appearance.
